FAQs

What is a Repair Café?

A Repair Café is a free community event where volunteers with repair expertise help people in the community repair their broken belongings.

Bring your broken items, or your repair expertise, to one of these events and work together to repair household electrical and mechanical devices, furniture, computers, bicycles, clothing, and many cherished antiques and keepsakes. The diverse list of items repaired is endless.

You can also learn to fix your broken items with the help of our volunteer Fixers.

If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the supportive community atmosphere. Or you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job. There will be lots going on so join us!
