Thrift Warehouse in Bancroft is a social enterprise of SIRCH. Thrift Warehouse Haliburton is a social enterprise partnership between TPS Haliburton Holdings and SIRCH Community Services. SIRCH manages the Warehouse and provides staffing. The warehouses have huge benefits for North Hastings County and Haliburton County:

Thrift Warehouse has an ever expanding and changing inventory. Frequently, items will come in and go out within a few days so it’s important to check back regularly! There are also exciting store features, discounts and promotions. SIRCH also invests its portion of profits in other programs and services that are needed in the community.

The Opportunity Looks Like Hard Work Award is now OPEN for applications!!! This award recognizes and supports local high school students (grades 9-11) who are working part-time in customer service roles with local businesses. Apply here:

There are two awards of $500 each available this year. The award celebrates students who balance school and work, develop valuable life skills, and contribute to our community. Eligible students must be full-time high school students in Haliburton County, have at least a 70% average, and be currently employed in a customer service position.
The application deadline is May 15, 2025, and winners will be announced by May 31, 2025.
