SIRCH addresses food insecurity and social isolation through various food programs that provide affordable or free nutritious food.  We welcome customers daily for breakfast and lunch to our Bistro & Bakery at 49 Maple Street in Haliburton.  We also distribute thousands of free frozen meals through a network of community and health organizations.

SIRCH, embedded in Haliburton County for 35 years, identifies social and health service gaps and initiates programs to address them. Once established, programs are often transitioned to suitable organizations. Presently, our focus is on fostering resilience and breaking down barriers in the community.

If you’re in our area, get involved with our programs, shop at our Thrift Warehouses, and eat at our bistro/bakery.  You can also help by donating produce from your garden, doing a fundraiser for us, attending our events.   If you have questions or an idea about how you could help, get in touch.  We’d love to hear from you.
