Mind Meals. The “Mind Diet” is designed to support brain health and cognitive function in Seniors. Specific foods can be beneficial for brain health such as greens and leafy vegetables, berries, whole grains, beans, nuts and olive oil. Participants will participate in creating a healthy breakfast oat meal bowls that include oats, fruit, chia seeds and sunflower seeds that we will eat together and prep to take home with them. We will discuss meal planning ideas and recipes to include MIND diet ingredients without braking the bank. They can start implementing into their regular meal rotation. Participants will also enjoy a demo and tasting of a one pot Mediterranean vegetable stew. Extras will be packed up and sent home with participants. Location: SIRCH Bistro & Bakery.
